I'm looking for 60s and 70s full page and two page magazine ads for Dodge, Plymouth, Mopar, Autopar, Direct Connection, oil and auto parts companies. I want to frame them and use them to decorate the shop. If anyone has any leads I'd love to hear about them. Thanks.

@blown motor this guy is out your way....Have you contacted him ? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-art-collectibles/woodstock-on/classic-advertisements/1539754753

@anlauto Ya I was at his place and got a 2 page good Year ad that had a couple 68 Chargers in it. He has an amazing slot car track in his basement and endless die casts still in original packaging.

Lots of ads and very organized for easy browsing. When I was there my parameters were very narrow, ads connected to my cars. Since then I've decided to open it up and I may have to go back. I've found a cool Thrush muffler ad and a Gabriel Hijacker ad that has a Nova in it. I'm not excited about the Nova but it's bang on for the era that I'm targeting.

I'd love to be able to find this one. A guy had it advertised but then he couldn't find it.  :Thud:

I have a few binders full of them - how many are you looking for?

blown motor

@6bblgt Do you have any Direct Connection ads? Or Gabriel Hijacker? Or Chryco?

Oh, if you're looking for ads like that, then you can get them for pennies on the dollar by buying old 68-72 Hot Rod, Playboy, Life, Popular Hot Rodding, Car Craft,  magazines...usually people are selling them by the crate full for a couple of dollars... :alan2cents:

Direct Connection was used mid-'70s thru mid-'80s - was that '69 Charger ad authentic or a fantasy piece?

I took a quick look - the only Gabriel shock ad had Petty, Gurney, Unser & Jones on it

Chryco - doubt I have any

blown motor

As far as I know it was authentic.

looks like the D-C ads are early '80s right before they went away ~'85 - I'll look to see if I have any like these
