I too, had to let a friend go at 5 years from lymphoma. I never ever want to go thru that again? Most difficult thing I have ever seen. Drooling blood, and big pleading eyes.
It came up so suddenly? I took her to the vet, and he said "make her comfortable". I wish he would have just put Dolly down right then. It was the weekend, and I couldn't get ahold of him.

I fpound, it's best to get another dog before the one you have dies? Sometimes, the new dog actually extends the life of your other?
And they will pass on, knowing that you are a dog lover, and care for the new doggie as you did them. No drama, no second guessing that way?

Oh hell no.  If the dog is that bad there has to be more discussion of options.  Can't have a dog suffer over the weekend.  That's BS
