DAYLEY/CHALLENGER

My son of 45 years old passed on at 4:41 today.  He was a retired police officer who had to give up his favorite job due to health reasons. 2 years of struggling with various issues and finally his liver said no more and shut down the rest of his body.  He was prepared to go and wanted all he was in contact with to be prepared also.  So I know he is at peace now and the only ones with issues are the ones left behind.  A wife, a 17 year old girl and a 14 year old girl. A younger brother of 2 years and his mom and me.  He will be missed but was so loved and he knew it.

So sorry for your loss, no parent should ever have to surpass their child's life.
He sounds to be a fine man, raised by a loving family that will surely miss him dearly.

May God be with you and grant you all comfort in your time of sorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear this.  This must be so hard for you right now and I know there's nothing I can say to make it better.  It's never easy to say goodbye, but even more difficult when it is your child.  I'm sure the world is better place for having your son in it and thank you for raising a police officer.  We need more people like you and him.  You are in my thoughts.   :andyangel:

I can't imagine what you and your son's loved ones are going through. I realize you mentioned he was ready and yet, no one else may have been... and he was so incredibly young. Thank you for raising a man of service. You are in my thoughts.

Our condolences to all your family. No words can ever soften the loss. It's the memories that will honor your son.

Sorry for your loss. Hardly seems like appropriate words. Losing a child must be the hardest thing to ever endure.
