As mentioned, it is an obscenity for a parent to have a child predecease them and as a parent of a son myself, please accept my condolences on the loss of your boy, 45 though he may have been. It sounds like he lived a good and productive life and one can only hope that his family can cope with his passing and remember the good things and times that they had with him, forever. He'll never be truly dead until he's forgotten and as such, he'll live forever in your hearts and minds. So sorry!
