I made it this year for about 5 hours on Saturday.  Really amazing cars there. I would have stayed longer (I missed meeting several people) but had other commitments.  Still very much worth going.

Great pics.  Thanks for posting!

Thanks for sharing!
Looks like a fun show!

I see two 65 2+2 421 cars there.   Second best 2+2 car.

That rusty cuda is freakin AWESOME!!    Drive it just like that!

Any chance, you might have gotten the vin on that Sport Fury GT  ?

Love the black with white guts cars that were special invite this year!

I didn't get the VIN of the Fury GT.  Those super rare cars catch my eye and owning one is on my bucket list of cars I'd like to own someday!
I'd posted a thread here several months ago about that V code mod squad Challenger convertible Mecum is selling @ Kissimmee.  I was excited when I heard it would be at  MCACN this year so I could see it first hand.
I'd mentioned the car to Bob Ashton when I was talking to him a few months ago, and he said he'd been discussing it with some bigwig collectors and the consensus was the car needed to be blown apart and restored.  Also they said the Mod Squad history was irrelevant to the cars value as it was just a bit player in one episode.
Seeing the car in person I question WTH they were talking about with the condition.  The paint looked good to me!  Really all I saw negative with the car was that for some reason it has headers.  A set of original exhaust manifolds and likely a new exhaust in order, but otherwise the car looks great as a survivor.
I agree the Mod Squad history adds little to nothing to the cars value though.
I got stressed in October with my plans to store my Magnum for winter, and park my Scat Pack in my garage for 6 months, when the storage place I use found they were booked full.  I did get lucky after a couple weeks of stressing out, and found another place so both cars are safely indoors now.  But that put the kibosh on my thoughts of bidding on that vert until I figure out my car storage!

I was there both Sat. & Sun. - saw some amazing cars !  I saw the first Black AAR I've ever seen in my life and it was beautiful.  I'm hoping to have my Red / Red AAR Cuda there next year.  Here are a few of my favorites that I didn't see in previous pics.  I know it's not all Mopar, but that black Boss 429 spoke to me !  It reminded me a lot of a black 69 Mach 1 that I had many years ago.

The black AAR belongs to a member here, TX9AAR.  Here's a video on it.

We all have to devise a way to meet up. Every year I wander the exhibits just knowing other members are mulling about and we never meet. Kind of a shame after sharing info here and enjoying each other's comments. Too damn cold in Chicago to wear a club t shirt from the parking area. Perhaps we should next year set up a meeting spot and time. I saw Ola there, but by the time I could get through the crowd, he had scurried off. Who knows how many of us passed each other during the day.

Back quite a few years ago, some members on CC.com and I met up at Mopars in the Park in the Twin Cities. Prior to the event we just agreed on a meet up time and place. Maybe do the same kind of thing for next year at MACN? I'm not sure if I'll be going, but if I do I will be looking to do some kind of meet up.

Since I work at the show, I mention I'm stationed in the stage area over the weekend.  Since I'm local I have various friends of mine who swing by and say hi from time to time during the show.  But only once do I recall a member here stopping by to introduce himself, 5 years ago maybe.  Other members here who I already know I will run into there.  I spotted RzeroB a couple shows back since he was wearing his E bodies.org shirt so I stopped him and introduced myself.
But all in all with it being crowded there and so much to see, it's tough to try to schedule a meetup.

@cuda hunter the VIN on the Fury GT is
PH23T0D109821.

It got a lot of attention. Great car
