Need some VISUAL MEASURING -- SOLVED !!

Okay guys....Comparing this JLT cold air filter system to our member 303 Mopar's cold air filter system....

Do you think it will fit ? I don't have my PS reservoir there or the starter relay...

I'm not asking about the big ugly box around it either...just the bent tube and filter....think there is enough room for it in an E Body ?

Not sure if it will fit, but it looks amazing.  That engine looks awesome.

It looks like it would fit.
Worst case trim down the elbow or rotate it down.

I used a legmaker intake I found on eBay. Mine looks longer than that one.

I have to twist it around to just the right angle, but it fit without cutting it.

I haven't made a box for it yet, but it looks like I'll have just enough room to fab one out of aluminum.

I've bought lots of stuff from this seller over the years. Might find something to make it work how you want? Various sizes, bends, joiners etc.... Be nice to get the air from ahead of the rad for cooler air? I also use them from rad hoses, also where I get my fuel lines.

I was trying to avoid "making" one....the JLT one I posted come with the proper bung for the factory MAF sensor etc...already incorporated, and depending on how it fits...it "may" look like it was made to go there... :fingerscrossed:

I cut a hole where the original heater hoses went through and mounted them on the firewall and above the kick panel behind the glove box- you can see on that pic if you zoom in. It's unfortunately large, as I didn't want to repin the giant ECM connectors.

Did you have to lengthen the wire harness ? What harness did you use ?

I used the mopar performance kit.

I unrolled the power and ground portions and laid it across the motor to see where it would fit. I may have swapped the battery and starter cable. I don't remember soldering any length, but definitely cut one of the power cables. I did not cut any signal wires or anything going to the computer.

I provided 12V from the battery in the trunk at the fuse box for the feed. I used ground strips as well in that same area back to the negative terminal.

My "opinion" is no for the fitment.
Yes for the visual. No for the vertical room.
Vertical fitment has been my largest obstacle everywhere for the turbos and associated headers.
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.

Just looking at the pictures, my eyes say no go...  At least not without changing the length or angle.
Hope I'm wrong. Good luck. I'm sure we will all find out when you get it.
