I just finished watching a new series on Netflix called "Fastest Car".....It's really a neat  show and I highly recommend it.

Each episode (49 mins) they pit 3 sleeper cars in a drag race against one super car...all four cars 1/4 mile drag race at the same time on old air port runways.   Then the one winner moves on to the finale where all SEVEN cars race at one time on a dried lake bed.... :looney:

I won't give away too much, but will say there's three Mopars out of seven finalists

I love the episode with the chrome Lamborghini...great for a laugh !  :haha:

That sounds interesting. So much garbage on TV these days I'll have to check that out.

They do a really good job of introducing the 28 different people and their cars...personally my favorite is the older lady with the yellow Ferrari ;)

Netflix is becoming it's own production company.
With all the car oriented programming on TV, it's a smart move
Thanks for posting

Whats more insane is that Netflix is issuing 1B in corporate debt to build out new content.

I recently meant the guy who was in the episode where the datsun got wrecked by that electric car with no traction.  He said the metal work alone was 15 or 20k to get that car straight and its still not painted.  I guess the show gave him the left over money from the show and the lady with the bat lambo was going to attempt to race him and another contestant (not the electric car) to help the dude with the Datsun pay to rebuild his car.

This conversation happened 2 blocks from my house.  Another contestant in the show lives in the city 5 miles from me.  California is a unique place.

I am always looking for a good car show and there are next to none on netflix and I am too cheap for cable. Velocity has some good shows, I dont have access to that channel.

That's really a chance you take when you're racing anybody....I was surprised at that electric car because the guy had raced it several times before...
I can't afford Velocity either,  :crying: but my wife insists we have Netflix :bigthumb:

I just watched the first two episodes. Seems like everybody has a hard luck story. Drama, drama, drama.

Don't we all...   It wouldn't be TV without drama.... :clapping: pretty cool that a guy in a wheel chair built his own car  :dunno:

I'm currently halfway on the one and will finish it tonight.

The funny thing about her story is they didn't say how she became wealthy enough to afford it.

I have a friend who is into buying and selling exotics and has a warehouse local. He has several Ferrari's, Lambos, BMW's (high end) and also like to track race his Ariel Atom. Maybe I should ask to race his Ferrari 488 GTB!!!!
