WOW!!!!  You are the Challenger King.  We might have to start calling you Mr. Challenger or Challenger Steve.     I don't think I've ever seen a White Challenger with a White Vinyl top.  That sounds like a cool combo.

Any chance your 73 has the fender tag and was built on 308?

and the 1970 White 440
and the paperwork for the 1970 Red convertible

I used to run E-Body Specialties in the Northwest, wrote and produced a book on the car, and worked with Chrysler Historical for 18 months on the production figures/codes, etc.

That's a wonderful long history of E-Bodies.  You probably forgot more about Challenger then I'll ever know.      Glad to have you here.

We used to hunt for parts, etc. Now with the internet, it's so much easier and more poeple are sharing their knowledge.
One trip across the country, I was pulling parts in a wrecking yard in florida while visiting relatives and shipping them back to Seattle.
Those were the days.

Kinda of funny that we meet this way.  I've had lots of people over the years ask me if I know Steve from E-Body Specialties.    It's a small world and with the internet it's even smaller now.  Glad I finally can say I know Steve from E-Body Specialties now.

wow! It is a small world. That's great that people remember me.
It can be sad also.
I was heading to north idaho to visit family, and we stopped in Moscow, Idaho. There was a Cougar parked in the A&W and I spoke to the owner. In the spokane area there was a guy that I was in touch with, (he was with SIAC, heavily devoted to T/A's and AAR's), his name was calvin. That day I learned that he died in a car accident a few years before. Sad to see them go, especially when me lose touch.
It was agreat time.

this site is 'killer'.
The folks here all have stuff to contribute and I can learn new stuff. Times have changed and I think this is awesome.
I would love to see this site on Internet radio. People that are restoring cars, telling their stories, even live feeds from the nationals, etc. Folks that lived in the 60's and 70's when Mighty Mopars roamed and ruled the streets. I think that would be something.
The folks that have the e-bodies now are keeping the dream and passion alive.
