As much as I want to change stuff like wheels, I know I need to drive it a few thousand miles and really settle into it. There are other things for me to blow money on....like dmv fees.  Haha

Leave her the way she is. If you want to keep everything STOCK, then just keep it running and focus on improving things that arn't obvious...recurving ignition, etc. PM me for a good guy....

Don't change the wheels on that....

I changed the wheels on mine because I just simply want to improve the stance and looks. I have a fuggin' Challenger for christsakes, not a grandpa's car, and mine looked like a grandpa's car. My wheel choice made a tremendous improvement. NOTHING else improved it as much as the wheels did...

If you're goal is to let it be, then just let it be....and enjoy it the way it us. Tires that are available in 15" are most likely available in 14".

The wheels are staying. At some point if the tires wear or sidewalls crack with age, I definitely want a set of the Goodyear Polyglas since they make them in 14". For now I need to do a couple obvious things like paint the tail light bezels gold and put on a new convertible boot.

I drove it over 50 miles yesterday afternoon.

No overheating issues and it drives really nice. The steering feels a little sloppy but I'm betting I can adjust the box. It pulls a little to the right but that's also an easy fix. The suspension is quite a bit softer than I'm used to but I'm gonna leave it alone for a few thousand miles. At times, I enjoyed the way it floated down the road and other times, the wind made it rock and roll like an old bus. I can see a good set of shocks helping out while allowing me to keep the soft ride. I don't want to change springs though until I've driven it a few months to see what I like. If I did anything more than shocks, I'd think about torsion bars one size bigger and no more. Plenty of time to mull that over.
