I spend some time doing scale models when it is too cold outside.

I collect old steel beer cans.  Recently narrowed it down to under 1000.

Wow - lots of impressive hobby work on display in this thread.

My Challenger project seems to take up most of my spare time.   My wife and I do lots of projects around the house, mostly having to do with landscaping - she's the designer, I try to be the builder/hole digger.  I was getting reacquainted with something I did years ago around radio controlled sail planes which went on hold when I got the Challenger.   I've started helping out with maintaining stuff at our church, with the snowblowers and plow truck being the primary focus right now.  Going back to when we lived in Texas and were becoming "empty nesters", we started taking dance classes ...something that we continue to do some 10 years later and still very much enjoy (there's even a trophy that we have from a contest that proves low turnout, enthusiastic smiles and last minute practice can be a winning combination).

I like to paint in water color, oil, and acrylic. Had a one-man show of forty paintings in Soho, New York City.

I have too many hobbies.  I love going to concerts.  I made it to about 15 or so this year.  I have stubs for over 350.  I am an avid motorcyclist.  I play on my Honda RC51 and sport tour on my Kawasaki Concours 14.  I average over 7k mi per year for the 8 months a year I can ride.  I am heading to Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia to ride this upcoming year.  I love riding in Europe!!  My winter hobby is snowmobiling.  Last spring I upgraded to a Polaris Indy 800 that I haven't ridden yet.  Let is snow!!  Since I live where it is stupid cold, and have ice long before and after snow, I bought a 2013 Honda CRF450 that I switched over ice racing.  I am doing my first 3 hour endurance race with a friend next weekend!!  My plan is to ice ride on Saturdays and snowmobile on Sundays. I have just finished up more modifications to my slot car track so that I can race with my friends on Tuesdays nights from January through March while its too cold to drive real cars.  I still try to make some time to target shoot with my guns.  I have a small .22 handgun that is so fun to shoot, and an AR for 100 yard targets.   I stay in shape riding bicycles.  I love to road ride my carbon bike, and play with mountain bike a bit too.  I usually end up in Colorado most years to bike wth friends.  They make me do things that I would never do without being ridiculed into do it.  Not dead yet!!  Wish I had more time and money to enjoy more of it.

That's incredible.  especially that first picture.  really hard to tell that it's not a picture.
LIke how the visual effect is on that horses legs!

I was a muralist for about 3 years in the front range of Colorado.  Really enjoyed painting.  Put together two huge children's museum exhibits.  Some murals in air force academy.  Still have a mural at the hippo outside section of the cheyenne mtn zoo.
also did a ton of work on a Martin Luther King elementary school.  In the ghetto.  (respectively a Colorado Ghetto)   not that bad.

Thanks !!...Yeah, there's all kinds of airboats around here anything from a lawnmower engine to V8s that sound like dragsters...The last pic of my airboat is from my back yard so I get to see and hear all the crazy activities out there on the river..

I didn't know the AR platform could accommodate a .375!
Mine is just a plain 'ol 223.
Shooting is a hobby of mine as well, but too cold in the winter. And I'm not crazy about shooting indoors....

Glad to read there is another artist on the forum. I always wanted to do a mural. Since you like the harness racer here is a picture titled "Crazy Legs" from that series showing what happens between point A and point B. Sorry about the flash.

I have been to Europe riding 3 times.  Mostly Germany, Italy, and Austria.  I have used https://www.edelweissbike.com and love them.  I like to do their least expensive trips where I carry my own belongings, and have longer and tougher days riding than sightseeing.
I have friends in Frisco and my best bud lives on Lookout Mtn. west of Denver.  He is a nut job, and takes me extreme mountain biking.  Broke my finger and bruised my hip last time I was there.
I have been there dirt biking before a couple of times.  I remember doing the continental divide by the Moffit Tunnel.  I don't know all the details, since I just follow my friends.  I usually feel way in over my head while I am out there.  It really is an extreme place and my buddy pushes me to do crazy stuff.
I have an Eagle Arms AR15 by Armalite with a hybrid chamber for .223/.556 with a Vortex scope.  That is a pretty neat machine.  Fun to shoot.  My handgun is a Browning Buckmark .22 with a trigger kit.  Accurate, fun, and cheap.
