So I've had a buddy in town all week who's a skilled photographer..... I took him out for a few drives in my Challenger & he took a few shots....  It always amazes me how someone with skills can make things look vs how it looks when I take a picture....  The first few are of the Challenger or parts of the Challenger.... Then a photograph of a power pole.... Talk about taking something that seems like nothing & making it a cool shot.....   And finally a flower bed in my backyard that Coral & I have a lot of work in but it's never looked like the photograph makes it look...

I always like to catch the four tires on the ground view from anywhere in the 360 pattern. That effect can still be had on a straight on front or rear shot. To me, it gives a perspective and helps pulling out different details in the body lines, (except for a Cuda  :pokeeye: ) grille, tail lights, etc.
The standing shot at any of the four corners has already been done before!  :Thud:

Hey Randy,
Here's one that was screaming for a picture. It wasn't posed or anything of the sort. I went to see my buddy and just had to have it.
Yes, I had to stick my business card on it...  :bricks:

I find that the equipment makes a huge difference between a pro and an amateur.

A friend of mine bought a 8K camera.  He now makes money off of his pictures.  He never knew he could do that until he purchased the correct equipment.
Just like any profession.

those pictures look great!

If I could load the original files they look allot better but these photos give you an idea....   The original files are over 10MB  the files I loaded are around 300KB  So 1/30th the size........  Yes he has nice equipment, a good camera & good lenses... But he also has a good eye & good imagination....

I agree that it's the vision that makes a good photographer, the camera and accessories are the tools to share the vision with others.

I'll share this with you of a morning I was heading to work. When I saw the sunlight, I envisioned our SRT. I parked it in the middle of the road and used none of the expensive equipment just a simple digital camera.
