Found this on a AMC site I started on a few months back. I downloaded it and it worked , when I go to cc.com I can see most ( not all) of the pictures I posted that photobucket is holding hostage.
If your interested in some or all of your old pictures I's suggest doing it quickly before they somehow shut it down?

I assume they haven't caught up to you yet, but they are blocking our pictures and wanting money to access them. Most of us have gotten the " please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting " picture that used to be where you posted a picture from a link from photobucket.  :verymad:

:iagree:  Yup, it's been a shake down over at PhotoBucket and I keep hearing about people getting notices to pay or no longer be able to share their photos.  They can still access them, just none of the share links will work.

I opted to pay them a while back so I wouldn't have all those dang advertisements clogging up my album page. Time to move to a new hosting site? What online photo hosting site do you guys recommend?
Cheers!

Postimg.org is working great for me

http://postimages.org/ is working great for me.   :slapme5:

Never a ransom from here.
.org like here means we won't rip you off.

I also recommend putting them on a travel drive.
Even if there's an internet crash, your pictures will always be safe.

Grabbed all my photos from cc.com long ago.

Been slowly downloading them from bucket ever since they held up the ransom note.
Maybe they were able to extract ransom $$$ from the sites our threads are posted on.

I also will never go back.
