I'll have it registered tomorrow.  Hopefully the rain stops by the time I get home.  Weather says partly cloudy and low 70s.

Time to go cruising!

Nice score ..  It looks to be the warmest day of the year to date tomorrow{70s in march !!} so you'll have some good cruising weather with the top down..

Got it registered and got the new carb, fuel lines and such put on and took it for a ride. Driving along a started to feel a  vibration.   Got a little worse and worse so I slowed down and then BAM!

No damage to car.  Got the spare on and it was really dry rotted.  Didn't even get 200 yards before this...

Dang: So a roll-off ride and a call to Y.O for some 17's?

Did get the roll off ride.  Ordered some new tires.  Will be putting in a call to Summit for some 15s.  Don't like the look of the 17s.

Nice to know there is no damage.  Just for sheets and grins, what is the DOT date code?  Perfect lesson to change out old tires.

Looks like 8yrs old?  Thought they were much older.  What tires are they?  I have some BFG's that 12yrs old and look great, better change them out.
