Jalopnik articles can be hit or miss, but this one - from a guy who's not a Dodge fan boy in the slightest - is worth a read.  Pretty humorous, too.

Oldschool

Ha!, that is a good article. Thanks for sharing.... :slapme5:

"I think we all figured this car had better deliver or we'd be within our rights to team up and banish Dodge back into whatever hellhole it keeps getting its vehicular inspiration from."

:clapping:

That line made me smile.

Kinda funny the guy thought he could beat a professional time put down in the Demon.

Not everyone can be a Don Prudhomme.

I don't believe that was what he said - he said the app on his phone recorded a time faster than Dodge's claimed best when the Dodge employee ran the car earlier in the day, but that when he - the journalist - ran, it was around a second slower.  But he pointed out that it was a 99-cent app and to take it with some salt.

:burnout:

Mega salt then.

:haha:

Btw, you buy a Cuda yet?

No...

Only one car mildly tickled my fancy at Carlisle but they were asking 10K over my budget and after hearing him get all snooty at another guy who offered him a number near my budget I decided not to even bother.

Honestly at this point I'll be holding off until at least next year to see what my employment condition will be - could be changing jobs and moving next year and obviously that'll have an impact.

So we'll see!   :dunno:

What years you looking at?

I know the type but keep your eyes out and it will come around. Patience is the key.

Looking for a 72-74, hoping for blue, gray, or gold, would like a 440 - but I can always stuff that in later.
