So I have stayed in touch with the guy I bought my Hemi GTX from.  In all honesty I have known him since I was 13 and have stayed in touch as he was always so cool to me.

Anyway, I bought the GTX from him last year after waiting 30+ years.  So a couple weeks ago, I stopped by his house in the Challenger and we chatted for about an hour and a half about life, kids, marriage, etc.  He was taking a break from yard work when I stopped by.  He told me he had a lot to do and needed to get back to work and I was about to leave and he said, "Oh wait, I have something for you".  Okay so I am intrigued at this point.

So he comes out and hands me a Nike shoe box... which I thought was odd, but I played along.  When I opened it up this is what I found inside.

Needless to say I was completely taken a back. This is a very cool score!

This may be more common than we think, especially in our Mopar community.
The previous owner of my car also gave me extra goodies and a new lifetime friend to boot. :grouphug:

That was a classy thing to do that he didn't have to do at all. Congrats!  :bigthumb:

I agree totally and another class act from one Mopar guy to another. I have kept intouch with the guy I bought my Cuda from last year as well. On several occasions he has contacted me with goodies he came across that belonged to my car. Not to be bias but this has only ever happened to me with Mopar folks because they are  8)

I think you are right.  The guy I bought my Challenger from was extremely cool and very personal.  When I first spoke to him about the car we chatted on the phone for at least an hour trying to get to know one another.  I have not had that experience with any other car as a buyer or a seller.
