Restore or replace ?

Got my signal switch pulled out. Was originally thinking restore. Then I ran the numbers, this is the newer replacement. I think replace now.

is it broken?  if not I'd reuse it, it is a MOPAR part  the reproductions are not that great

I bought a Mopar one about a year ago (71 style) after trying to make the jobber ones work.

No brake lights on one side is my issue/reason for the pull. The numbers tell me it the later switch not the 70.
