Would you paint your rally rim centre cap car color?

I have never seen this done before, but just wondering why someone would paint rally rims like dog dish rims.
I just don't get it?   Wish I had a better picture.
If this car is owned by a member here I apologize & ask for your forgiveness.   Sorry, but I'm just not a fan.

Not my taste. I think it was the awful 80's when some people were painting the wheels body colour, at least they left the centers alone though.

Looks better than painted steelies IMO.

Olds did this in the early 70's; the wheel but not the center cap.
Not for me!
