Yup! Sometimes they travel quite a distance & a 6.4 is big enough and Vegas is close enough... Hopefully everyone is safe..

My daughter is in Redlands. she was driving when it hit. Thought something was wrong with her car.
No major damage that she could see by her.

Wow! I'm in Riverside and didnt feel a thing. I was watching the 4th July Parade in Huntington Beach on the TV and there was a break in on the programming and had heard a 6.6 had hit in Ridgecrest in Kern County. I was totally surprised and had asked my wife if she had felt any tremors, she told me no. This was all at 10:00 to 10:30 AM. Heard it had been down graded to 6.4 with 30 after shocks one being 4.2. Oh well, missed that one.   Thanks,   Al

Just have another even bigger quake, 7.1, felt it in Modesto... Quite a distance...   Hope everyone is Ok but I expect some serious damage from this one...

Unfortunately agree about damage expected.

We felt it real strong in Brea. Rolling, so not directly on us. I would say it lasted a good 30-40 seconds. A bit unnerving watching your house sway around you.
No damage for us.

Bay area is next, and I can't wait.

Property values will drop and a ton of outsiders will move out, back where they belong.

89' earthquake a lot left.

People don't like Californians in their state; but most came from out of state in the first place.

Unfortunately we are now in for much of this.

Im just south of where it hit.  It was pretty intense.  My chandeliers swayed pretty good and the house swayed.  The family and property survived this one. :deadhorse:
