Metamora IL at a car show today. Didn't get to talk to the owner but the guy parked next to it told me he'd bought in '73 and it still had 50k ish miles on it and for the most part, untouched.

That baby is beautiful!
50K original miles.  Wow!
So original paint then?

No console D21 3 or 4 speed.
X9 interior.
B5 bottom B5 top

I wonder what other options this BS23H1B274394 has.

4 speed I believe, and reportedly original paint except for a minor repair once. I didn't want to open the hood of course and the owner wasn't standing there. I'll see it again and perhaps get him to open the hood and take a few questions.

Wow, I agree - such a beautiful time capsule. Would love to see an under the hood picture and under the car too! Thanks for posting the pictures as well.
