I just use my best asian accent and spew random Japanese at them. Mainly because I can't put many complete sentences together in Japanese. :haha:

I enjoy talking with them...I spent at least five minutes trying to convince a "duct cleaning service", that we had several very strict bylaws that prevented us from having live farm animals on our property....he was saying" no no no not ducks...ducts ! " then I would just start going on about our neighbor that got in trouble for having chickens, etc....eventually they hang up...
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I've been working from home like so many, and recently my home phone has been ringing at least once an hour, and they hang up before it goes to voicemail.
I don't have caller ID so have no clues as to who is calling.  It's pretty irritating as I'll be in a call or meeting sometimes with the phone ringing in the background.
I won't answer my home phone weekdays as 99% of calls are sales, charity or scam.  I really should just get it disconnected as it's more irritation than benefit!

Hope that's not someone calling for your wife or gal friend and hanging up on you (jk)!

We got 3 calls today from PG&E telling us they over charged and we qualify for a refund.

She  hit 1 and they asked for our address.

Well they called, they already have our address.

One thing I do is I never answer my phone with "Hello"
So what is your greeting of choice? So many options come to mind.. Lol

Alexander Graham Bell actually wanted "Ahoy" to be the answer greeting.
