Sh Sh Sh Shaken!!!

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck near Tonopah, Nevada, near the California-Nevada border and about 120 miles southeast of Carson City, early this morning on May 15, 2020, at 4:03 am local time (11:03:27 UTC).

Having lived in the Midwest for 80% of my life but about 12 years in Northern CA, and gone through both 3.5-6.3 earthquakes and tornados, give me a tornado every time.  Something about the shaking coming out of nowhere freaks me out.  Having a bit of warning with tornado, though more frequent and very destructive, it bothers me a lot less.  That's a pretty sparsely populated area so hopefully not a lot of damage.

Been in three earthquakes. 4.4 - 6.2.Two in Canada and one in Mexico. There is something extremely unnerving about the normally very solid earth moving under your feet.

The only one that ever really bothered me was living in Alaska in 64....  Less than 5.5 I usually don't even notice...
