Most of you boys here on this site are a bad influence on the rest of us.  We are all envious of what you have. All those very nice cars. So I decided after 38 years of no proper seats in my A66 challenger, I decided to get 70 style seats. I became a little obsessive on  this mission. Due to extreme shipping fees , I packed up the MRS and some cash and drove 450 miles round trip to pick one pass seat with tracks and the plastic back.Price $150 Canadian. Traded two window felts for a drivers bottom seat and took the MRS to an outlet mall. Made a sweet deal with MR Allan Gallant for some seat tracks.Needed a driver seat back frame with springs and couldn't find a reasonably priced one in Canada, But did find one in Detroit. Another 360 mile round trip.Price $75 U.S . Bought legendary seat covers as suggested, had shipped to buffalo. Price $540 Canadian. Found seat hinge covers, the two outer and pass inner $150 and ten dollars shipping. I still need seat foam. So far I've spent roughly $1000 dollars and approximately 900 miles of driving. IT might have been cheaper to ship. Many thanks to all you bad influencing people hear, Keep up the great work.

I live so far north in Canada  that making a trip across the border is not feasible.  I still have not ordered any parts for my car, but I know the cost of shipping of parts is going to drive me insane.

That's wi love about swap meets . You can actually see the part you're buying. To bad there all getting smaller and smaller with the internet being the way to find parts. I hate paying shipping fees! Their sometimes more then the part!

Look at it from the view that you and your Mrs. got to spend some time together incorporating your hobbie. I've got a mailing address in N.Falls NY and you could send stuff there and it's only a 45 minute run to the Falls from Hammertown. PM me if you need further info.

The only reason the MRS was on the trip is her car gets 45 miles to the gallon, my truck gets about 15 miles per gallon.Your mail box in NY is the one on Cudaback  in Buffalo. Thats the mail box we used to get the seat covers. Very pleased so far

You could have driven further and picked up these, 71's though, I imagine they should be gone today, they were just listed yesterday.
