Wow you are right . . Many hours involved in that vehicle.  But I agree . . Not for me either.   :dunno:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Looks like what some of the local guys would do with a limited budget for dirt track racing around here. It would be sheet metal and a little wavy, not smooth carbon,  but that's what that car made me think of.

There is a difference between the Designer and the Builder.
I agree, the design....odd.
Those guys are working the show-car angle.

SpeedCore is located near me. I have had a few friends work there.
They frequently buy pretty decent, or even very nice original cars (ie. Kevin Hart's Roadruuner), and chop them apart.  It is a crime!
I'm not sure the reason why you need to buy a good car and kill it instead of just building on a tube frame.

Yes: If you're going to ugly up a Cuda, Challenger or Charger just buy an AMD roof skin and go all Taiwan sheetmetal from there. I especially love the blocky rear fender flairs, are they trying to catch as much wind as they can to slow the car down?

:barf:  That back end looks like the car got backed into a big box that they couldn't remove.   Ugly.

I usually like customs.  This one though, not so much.
That rear looks very odd.  It looks like another car and detracts from the cuda's rear quarter angle making the rear quarter the opposite angle.
Those guys just have so much money they have to throw it at the car without thinking about the aesthetics, my opinion of course.

I can appreciate the craftsmanship, but unfortunately I agree....  :barf:

I did see this carbon fiber Camaro in person, and it was a stunning execution......

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy horsepower and that's kind of the same thing.....

File this under "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" category!

This isn't SPEEDCORE...

It appears to be Designcore

Definitely not my cup of tea!!! :stop:

It says "concept", so it's not an actual build right? Unless I missed something in my quick scan of the article, definitely not a fan of the design.

YellowThumper

Wow I see Ring Bros on steroids build there.
Just because you can mentality does not always translate to you should reality.
Zero visual flow. Also cannot see that design functionally flowing as well. Pushing a brick down the track is all I see.
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.

Kind of reminds me of a late model/short track car.  I'd say pass....
