Cell phone use AND a lot of new fancy technology in the dash of new vehicles is very dangerous.  Touch screen radios should be outlawed IMO.  It takes way too much time to find a station or adjust the temp controls.  I can change the station without even looking at a traditional radio.  I think this is a lot of the problem.
Couldn't agree more. I bought a new truck last year. A lot of touch screen controls. Sometimes when I want to change a setting, it takes way too much of my focus to figure out what screen, or menu the setting is on. So I give up and wait until I park it. Then I forget about changing it until i'm driving again... :bricks:

I bought a 17' Ram Sport earlier this year.  I am super distracted by the infotainment system.  As much as I feel distracted by my truck's interior, Im glad Dodge still includes rotary knobs as an alternate to the touch screen.  There still is a round rotary knob to turn the radio up and down. Keeps it quick, easy, and with feel.  I will be learning how to work the heater system soon enough by using a round knob.
Do other cars only have touch screen to work their functions?  No physical rotary knobs?
