This was very bad...

But could have been way worse. Roughly 30 years ago (wife found the pics looking for something else) one of the tallest billboards in the Midwest came crashing down. Lucky for us this happened after hours.

Gee...kinda insulting to one of the first recycling businesses. But..I guess before people thought recycling was cool. lol

That brown jewel was an El Camino somewhere in the 78-81 range.

Anyway, that little 'mishap" paid for my new tear down/warehouse building. Funny, now I'm listed as a primary on their insurance policy.  Go figure?
