Truck roof mount LED bars

I am often on bush back roads early in the am or late at night from hunting or fishing and want to 'light the way' so to speak.
So this is a question for anybody that has a roof mounted LED bar. Do they glare off the hood?

I have a 42 inch bar on the roof of my Ram. I don't have any glare off the hood because they're pretty focused forward. There are flood and spot bars and I don't know which one I have but if you spend a little time aiming it you can get rid of any glare you may have

I went bumper mount for my light bar to avoid any kind of glare..

I've owned eBay Chinese bars before. They work pretty decent. I'd say that Rigid or other higher end bars will give you much more light, but much more money.
