An excuse for government control without the normal safeguards bypassing the normal legal processes, exactly what has happened the last two years with civid restrictions/mandates- "For Schwab, the role of the state is to advance capitalist aims, not to hold them up to any form of scrutiny. These come into play only under pre-agreed emergency circumstances (such as a pandemic) and can help reduce delays and improve the coordination of first responders, temporarily allowing data sharing that would be illegal under normal circumstances". Funnily enough, two years later there was indeed a "pandemic" and these "pre-agreed emergency circumstances" became a reality.

This shouldn't have been too much of a surprise for Schwab, since his WEF had co-hosted the infamous Event 201 conference in October 2019, which modelled a fictional coronavirus pandemic."

Our biggest car show of the season was cancelled here in Palm Desert, CA.  Apparently there were government protocols that were not able to be fulfilled in this outdoor car show at the site of the Indian Wells tennis garden.  It's a shame because it's the second year it's been cancelled and some of these old fellas and gals don't have too many years left to get out and show their machines.

Just seems so strange as it's a large outdoor event and yet all the sporting events still are going on with full attendance in California.

Concerts and ball games generate a lot of tax revenue for the state which conveniently also happens to kill the coronavirus.  Pfizer and BionTech said so.

Just like how it only spreads at bars and restaurants if you are standing up and/or having too much fun.  COVID has a minimum altitude of 4ft. and is a bit of an introvert, apparently.

My personal favorite was last year when we couldn't gather indoors at bars and restaurants, but could gather indoors, outdoors (????) in a drafty tent in 15F, windy, Chicago weather as if that isn't going to take a toll on anyone's immune system.  BRILLIANT!

I thought they removed the mask mandate in most of the States already like Texas and Florida ?

Kids are still masked in schools here in New Hampshire and other places, it sucks as it`s really causing issues for a lot of kids and putting them behind, both in school work and mentally/emotionally.

How much they do, or don't do will be debated for a long time yet.
But I agree that they should all be eliminated as a prerequisite for anything. Everybody has had over two years of 'practice survival' with various Gov'ts telling you how to behave.lol.
From now on do as you see fit. You want to get jabbed every year like the flu shot and mask up...go ahead.
If you don't want to mask up? ..fine..do as you wish.

The only mandate I'm interested in now is passing one or more that severely restricts the ability of gov'ts of all levels to pass mandates like those passed for covid19.

Regarding the kids in Indiana, they have to wear a mask on the bus, but not in the classroom.  The bus mask requirement is a federal mandate I'm told.  So far we haven't had a major breakout of covid that has impacted school.  There are cases here and there just like the flu.  Our kid's teacher doesn't wear a mask either.  Indiana is one of the lowest vaccinated states at 56%. https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/vaccine/vaccine-dashboard/ It's more like 40% or less when you consider the age population in the school including the teachers.  The death rate for 0-19 years of age due to covid is 0.2% (https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/indiana-covid-19-dashboard-and-map/)  I think mandating an experimental gene therapy, on children with no long term data and no legal standing for restitution if the an adverse reaction happens, is criminal, especially with respect to the virtually zero death rate.  Covid cases and deaths in Indiana are plummeting despite the low vaccination rate.  The Amish, who won't take the vaccine, are doing just fine.

I wasn`t being seriuos about taking painkillers just making a point that we would figure out a way to provide schooling for the kid if any covid shot mandate were to come about, hopefully I wouldnt have to try and go back to work. I only take Ibuprofen for back pain and I try to limit that as much as possible as I know there are bad long term side effects from it.

Today, March 21st in Ontario Canada, you no longer have to wear a mask indoors, in schools and such....but guess what....In my wife's grade 8 class today, 13 year olds.....100% of them chose to keep their masks ON, they weren't ask to, in fact it was made known school wide that they were voluntary    my wife was stunned, as she chose to wear hers all day as well....
