Thanks guys...yeah she is a Black Lab...apparently Grandma is 1/4 husky and Dad was a Lab. So basically a Lab.

My wife has wanted a puppy for years.  My son has always been a bit nervous around dogs but that changes recently, so I caved and said yes.

To be honest, she is adorable and I am sure she will be a great companion for the whole family.

Same amount of land mines, they are just easier to see, before stepping in them

I had a Golden Retriever that cleaned up after himself.....  I had him for three days, he proved to be the stupidest dog on the planet... Gave him back to the girl who couldn't keep him...

By cleaned up after himself I mean he ate his own land mines...
He, got on the kitchen counter & ate three steaks (maybe not so stupid)....
He fell in the pool and he nearly drowned
He barked all night the first two nights, and didn't make a sound the third night, when someone broke into the garage and stole a tool chest...

Bye Bye!!

My current Dog "Cooper"  I never have to clean up after him, yard is big enough I guess and the land mines are small enough that I never notice them very often.
