Well actually it's gone on allot longer but it's been an officially sanctioned show organized by the North Modesto Kiwanis for 20 years....

I remember Graffiti Night Cruises from the mid 70's when the cops were blocking all access wearing full riot gear...... The next year they rode their horses down the middle of the cruise twenty horses wide.....

Organized & with the city's approval seems to be a better way.....  Lotta Mopar's out this year....

Looks like the streets in Modesto are steeper than San Francisco  :crazytalk:

No kidding.... I've made a point of holding the camera in the same orientation for every shot and still they randomly post straight or sideways....  Picture posting here is better than most websites but the fact it turns photos every which way kills me....

Great looking pictures Randy! It really looked like a fantastic show and cruise. Beautiful Mopars abound. That's one of my all time favorite movies.  Thanks,   Al

Whats funny is Modesto is the home of American Graffiti and that's the big thing about it..

But they have no cruising signs all over McHenry and one night I got puled over because they saw my truck 4 times in 45 minutes and tried to ticket me..      I was drunk taxi for 3 friends...    I didn't say that to the officer..        But I basically told them that I haven't broken any laws, pay my license and registration fees, nothing illegal done to my vehicle and I can use the roads as much as I need to because that's what I've paid for..      I ended up with one of their supervisors showing up and telling his officers "The sign is bullshit and unenforceable and we all know it"   lol

I'm just glad they stopped making the P/T Cruiser...
Those were really annoying weekends..    ;)

So the flyer doesn't have the days of the event.

Or should I call Diane Warwick at the Psych Friends Network?   ::)

Being as I am stuck in China that just double sucks - had to miss the De Anza show too

Every year De Anza, Graffiti & Pleasanton Good Guys are all on the same weekend....  Good news, Good Guys pissed me off years ago so I only have two to choose from.... I really like the Mopar show.. But I hate Bay Area driving... So I usually support the local event...  This year I hit a few of the Pre-Grafitti Cruise In's, watched the actual Friday night cruise from the sidelines & today a buddy & I took a drive up to the mountains..... I really prefer driving to sitting at shows....
