Lots of hobbies for me too.  Motorcycles are my #1.  I only have a few for sport touring, sport, and my dirt bike that I ride on ice in winter.  I snowmobile too.  Rock concerts have been draining my wallet this year.  I have over 350 stubs for those.   I ride road bicycles and mountain bike, and usually do a trip to the mountains every year to ride with friends.  I have an RC (remote control) short course in my back yard so I can bash with my Traxxas slash 2wd 1:10 scale truck.  Indoor winter hobby is my slot car league with my buddies in my converted dining room.  Every year is a different track and cars.  More upgrades this year.  And I garden.  I have too many vegetables and my freezer is full already.  Similar to ec-co too.  Oh yeah, I like to shoot my guns too.  I think  I need to scale back.  Hard to do when I am an unsupervised adult male with a steady income.  Cant take it with me.  And I never know when I won't be able to anymore.  I am living large!!

As soon as I saw your pic I knew it was the Deschutes river. I used to whitewater raft and fly fish it as well. I used to tell folks the deschutes is like an e-ticket ride, nothing else like it.

Hobbies:
F5D pylon racing
UAV flying
Been making beer for many years
Used to do a lot of fishing on NorCal rivers and streams
Now I'm looking to get into distilling!

Sounds fun B.

What are your fishing targets? Salmon? Steelhead or both?

Weed Beer outta be pretty popular selling soon this spring when it goes legal.

:drinkingbud: No doubt @HP_Cuda , the 'D', as we call it, is one special place- unmatched fishery and scenery... it's so peaceful there. Of course, it's peaceful until a steelhead takes your line!! What a rush, what a fish!! :worship: The trout fishing is great too! When we weren't riding our bikes up the river road from the mouth, we would take our little drift boat down the river from Maupin. Good times!!

There's a ton of people who have so much fun rafting the D, glad you were one of them!

I hunt.  Deer and Elk.  But my love is for mountain lions. Archery of course. no dogs, no gun, no friends. just me, the blade and the lion.  Fair chase only.

I'm an amateur Paleontologist.   I love finding dinosaurs. Or really any vertebrate fossil.  I've quite the collection.

I spend time most years looking for Aquamarine gem stones up on Mount Antero.  Only location in  America for the gem stone aquamarine.

Dirt biking single tracks.  snowboarding powder trees.  Love some shooting.  Have a thing for crotch rockets ( modern street bikes).
Heavy Metal concerts ( shiprocked every year) mostly like the small venues, they make for much better mosh pits.

Oh and I have a bit of a gardening hobby myself.  strictly Organic Medicinal for patients only.  Seriously.  hobby.

My business has kept me from doing most of my adrenaline rush's this summer.  I'm building the house in the last picture.

@jordan  I'd love to see the various tracks!  I tried Nitro R/C racing a few years ago but it was too pricey for my $13/hr job I had back then...  :)  I could probably afford it now but I've already gotten rid of everything and I think my wife would walk out if I decided to get back into it...  :)

I also still have some old slot cars in boxes, but really no time/space to mess with it right now.

@cuda hunter  great looking greenhouse! many years ago in the early days of the industry here I ran a 4000 sq' warehouse (medical only). got to be too much of a PITA, so I went back to just taking care of myself and a couple friends in need.  if you need some medical specific strains I have a few I would gladly gift to you.

Hey Mike

I used to hit the streams for Rainbows and Browns. Did some ocean for Salmon and Rockfish and also went for steelers up on the Klamath.

Truly fishing on the deschutes for those who have never been a bucket list item according to me.

Yeah I'm sure once recreational hits it will be a free for all. Weed beer, weed infused salmon, weed truffle fries. Lol

I used to be into gardening.

I grew all types of Potatoes. German Butterball, Austrian Fingerling, Candy Cane to name just a few on many.

The one thing I wished I had grown were the Hungarian Yellow Peppers.
Those are so damn tasty for cooking or just eating raw.

Anyone have those before or are growing them?

That's really cool.  Sure takes some patience.

Yep, pretty much a PITA.  I mostly consult and set up green houses on the side.  Hobby again.

I had a box of those hungarian peppers a few weeks ago.  They were great!  Didn't grow them.  Got them from our local farm to table.

My wife likes to grow peppers.  pretty easy plant to take care of.   We like to go to farmers markets to get our other produce.  Seems like we spend a lot less time buying this way.

But I sure love anything that comes out of a good garden.
After growing in the cannabis industry I have learned a ton about herbicides, insecticides, and pesticides.  I don't like them.  So we try to go to organic growers.
