Basketball?
Hockey?
Soccer?
Swimming?

Did you get a Letter jacket in H.S.

Tell us stories on what you accomplished.

When I was young it was soccer, basketball, curling and baseball.

In HS and college it was soccer and lacrosse.

As an adult it was/is hockey, curling, soccer and I attempt golf.

Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

We were definitely a sports family- all my brothers, sisters and I played soccer & softball/baseball. I was lucky enough to have my Dad coach my softball team for two years too.  :D As far as accomplished, I made the All-Stars in both sports in SoCal (as pictured- softball All-Star team) and yet, I stopped playing altogether in high school (primarily due to work).

Now, I run and I've finished 1st in my age group in one race and 2nd more times than I remember. Generally however, I finish in the top 10% of runners and I'm just fine with that- I do it in the name of fitness and mental health, not to compete.

I'd like to take up golf someday.

I played rugby for a few years in HS . Our school didn't have a football team because.... get this... It was too rough?  :notsure:  That's what we were told but I suspect it was more like the equipment would be too expensive.

Never played any sports. Closest I got to a sport was racing BMX bikes :)

I was a distance runner in high school.  my team won two state championships in Washington for cross-country and I was a four-year athlete in college.

I was sponsored by Saucony as an adult and then once my mid 30s.... I retired.  Well my achilles tendon and knees retired.

None for me. I was a band/music nerd.  :bigthumb:

Pretty much the case with me as well.

I yearned to be on the H.S. Baseball team but I just wasn't good enough at the higher pitching speeds.
Did the Swim team for a few years and also in the H.S. marching band played Trombone.

303 Mopar

Played football from 7 yrs old until first year of college. Played baseball, basketball, wrestled, and ran track.

One year of ASA Youth Softball in 1972, and a couple of years on the Handball team for Pershing Junior JHS.

For grins I tried the jacket on last year and I could still get into the thing, but my arms stuck out like a scarecrow
