Topcat is correct as I am a large fan of RUSH!  I think I have seen them in concert 16 times.  My wife would always say, "Why are you going to see them AGAIN?"  I would tell her, "you never know, they could be done at any time!"  Now they are and a great run!  Rush was a huge influence in my guitar playing, I can play more Rush songs than any other group.  A lot of good music and memories . . . Usually you loved them or hated them.  To each their own . . .

:D
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Rush has been at the top of my Favorites since 1975 when 2112 was released
Still listen to them today Always amazing performers & a class act , Peart on drums is inspiring , no one plays like him
I have also seen them numerous times in concert when they toured Canada

I got to see them once in the late 80's (Presto world tour probably). Amazing concert. Geddy Lee's voice was a little rough for the first song but once he warmed up it was on.

You can barely even see Neil in there , dual kick drums , snare , 8 tuned toms , numerous cymbals , wood blocks , wind chimes , zylophone , tubular bells , Gong , never seen a drummer manipulate so many different instruments , maybe not so hard to copy but what does it take to create this when you have never heard it before !!

Funny with Rush being a "hometown band" I'm surprised to see how popular they are in the USA and around the world. I always knew they were known just surprised as to how popular. I always liked them , after the Signals album I kind of lost interest in their new stuff.  :-[
