There was a radio here years ago. It was some chain of automotive service but I don't recall which one. The key character in the ad had the perfect voice and perfect delivery. One ad went like this.
First guy: Hey Bob, what are doing down there?
Bob: Oh just changing my oil. Whoa!! That stuff really comes out!
The delivery was perfect. Cracked me up every time.

I saw a billboard, in Reno, for a radiator shop. Their slogan was "the best place in town to take a leak".

30 years ago or so, this creative guy ran a used car lot in Toronto, and ran ads called Freddy Farkels Wrecks of the Week.
He wrote these ads weekly in the Auto trader and actually got a lot of business from people stopping around after seeing the ads....I saved some, have more, should have saved them all.

Another personal favorite: "I'm thinking about selling my car". Loosely translated, "I'm testing the water to see how ridiculously high I can price it".

" I know what I have...."

Usually means it's overpriced, or It's a POS and they think that whatever make/model it is, because they also saw a similar car sell at Mecum or Barrett and now that means they are sitting on a gold mine...lol

Another one is" Insured for $____________" or "Appraised at $__________"
