I was 11 years old and starting 6th grade.
Was a good year for the family.
My father had a new 2 bedroom house built and we got our first Mopar; dad bought a new 1963 Plymouth Savoy, 4 door slant six (darn) in ermine white. Car really held up and was a workhorse  :)

Sad note; I distinctly remember the death of JFK  :crying:

63, eh? Hmmm. I was 12 and in grade 8 in London as my parents had just split up. Not great memories as I (barely) recall. I survived it though and here we are.
PS- I do, also, recall the Beatles making their appearance and the music was great!
In the immortal words of Jimmy Scott- "pace yourself!"

I was in Kindergarten too! Riding in our new 63 black Fury 4 dr. Sedan. Parents watched TV all weekend when JFK was shot. Scary for a 5 year old. :unbelievable:
