school me on what this means? Do the headliner bows have colored ends? :notsure:
Great info!!! :clapping: Are all the red / orange bows the same for Cuda's and Challengers? And when did they change to 4 bows?

here's the headliner out of my '70 R/T - 702-SPD :pokeeye: and their COLORS
Neat!
I always left mine in the original headliner and then moved them to the same position on the new headliner when it was installation time.
Nice to know it can be sorted out if someone mixes them all up.
My -73 shell has nothing up there. Is there any other hardware needed than the bows and the headliner? I see a few screwed brackets, are those for the bows?

I do the same. I just had this chart from somewhere and thought it would be a good guide line :alan2cents:
In your yellow 73, the rods go in one of the "three tranglated holes" on each side.
Good stuff!!!!!!

The brackets have plastic covers that go over them for the seat belts.
Photos of the green bow cups and the 2 little wire hooks that hold the rear bows in place.

I have pics that look a lot like that. When I first saw them, I thought "I don't remember posting those pics yet". :)
Good stuff right there!!!!!!

That's exactly what I remember. When we were pulling stuff out of the storage unit for Pixie's Duster, I was looking for those bows...never saw them and was getting a little nervous. Then, I saw the huge headliner board! No bows in the Duster. :haha: :haha:
I know this thread hasn't been posted on in quite some time. But I'm about to tackle the headliner this week. As with the rest of my project the guy who took it apart didn't label or number anything. Does anyone know the color order for a 4-Bow headliner for a Challenger? I believe I'm still able to make out some faint paint blotches on the end of the bows.
I`m going to need this info soon as well, I installed a Gran Coupe style headliner in mine years age but now I`m going to put back the original style one. I removed the original one and marked the bows with masking tape and marker but the tape dried up so is no longer readable.

Lay them out on the floor...bows 1 & 2 are the same, bows 3 & 4 are pretty self explanatory with #4 being longer :alan2cents:
