Title: Tamraz: at a loss for words

I have had nothing but great dealings with Tamraz parts in the past. I have purchased off their website and ebay. On June 16 of this year, I purchased a new set of 70 challenger marker lights/bezels. I recieved 3 of the 4. I received no email insuring me that my 4th marker light was on its way, I had to email them first. I am going to stop typing and let my interactions with Tamraz do the talking.

I received the package today. Everything looks good, except that I am missing the passenger front marker light. The box that everything came in was secure and undamaged. There was no passenger front marker light in the box. The other three were there. I checked the invoice on the box and the invoice includes all four, as I paid for them. Please have the last one sent.

I ordered this on June 16. It is July 22. I have never recieved the passenger Front marker light. I have already messaged and was told that it was shipping from another location. I still don't have it.

I am so sorry for the run around. I looked in to your order and it appears that your entire order except for this one part shipped directly from our supplier back in June. The invoice indicates that this was backordered at the time they shipped it. I have reached out to our supplier to see what the hold up is.
Typically I am not in the office..I fill in from time to time when the office is short staffed.

I have made a note on your order as well as CC'd the person who is typically in the office on the email I sent to our vendor so that this does not slip through the cracks again. I am also leaving a post-it on her note so that this is taken care of as soon as possible.

From what I can see, when you initially emailed, you were sent a response saying it would ship from a different warehouse. This was incorrect as your entire order shipped from that warehouse and it was backordered.

The next message you got was unfortunately a generic response, as we've had a 3rd party helping with messages (we got up to over 2,400 messages during busy season and were not able to get it under control as we were very short staffed due to Covid stay at home orders).

I am very sorry you have not been given a straight forward answer. I hope to get a response from our vendor by the end of the day today so that I can follow up with you-but if not, Val will be in touch with you as soon as we hear back.

I am still missing a passenger front marker light. I have emailed multiple times. I have been told multiple times that it will be taken care of. The last I had heard from this was on July 16. I ordered this in June. It has almost been 2 months. I was understanding in the past. Im pissed. Why have I not received this?

Long story short, I keep getting  the run around. I trusted Tamraz, It has been about 3 months since I purchased this; I keep getting the runaround and lack of communication. It has been long enough that I have no recourse through ebay and am now waiting on the kindness of Tamraz to send me what I originally paid for.

Also, the last message from Tamraz apologizing and making excuses was sent August 17th. I still have no tracking number, no reply and no marker light. I messaged them Sept. 8th. I am awaiting a reply.

ebay should still be on the hook to get this sorted out. how long do they give you to file a transaction dispute? You might get your credit card company involved if ebay/Tamraz drags their feet.

This used to be reputable vendor, but now, not so much. Did anyone notice the "Labor Day coupon" that didn't work this weekend? Also, nobody available for support on Friday, a regular business day!

The option on eBay to file a claim and leave feedback is no longer listed on my home page since it has been so long.

I just called them. No apologies. They said it was on backorder and that they "will check with the supplier".
At this point I just want my money back and to return the 3 marker lights. That is no longer an option on eBay and that has timed out as well.

I've always just called them and ordered what I wanted and got a better price not going through e bay. . I'm having a problem with Jegs which I guess is similar to yours. Companies are advertising Parts they don't have and later finding its on back order.

Tamraz is the worst company I ever ordered from. I ordered 9 AMD panels to be shipped to L.A and then put in a container to Sweden.
5 of them where missing when I got the delivery, 10 weeks later. I finally got my money back for the missing panels, after many mails and phone calls, but since they were listed on the invoice and I paid for them, I had to pay for shipping, Swedish custom fee's and a 25% sales tax on items I never received.
Shipping company and customs goes by the paperwork, not what is in the boxes.
Tamraz did not care at all about this, this is what they wrote me:

"We can not reimburse your for custom and duties that is your country that charges that. You have been refunded for the missing items. Sorry again.

I used them for a few panels off ebay. They had the cheapest prices listed for AMD stuff.

Months after I received and installed a full AMD floor pan I realized it was actually a Goodmark piece... Also noticed a few parts were shipped loose, not in a box, and had stickers peeled off to hide the manufacturer.... will never use them again.

Last time I ordered from them was their 50% off deal nearly two years ago. I got everything eventually but it sure took a while. I was lucky compared to others here. They used to be really good but I don't trust them anymore.

I bought a item from them that was sold as a AMD product and it was not.I knew something was wrong  because the item did not come in a AMD box.That is why some of their prices seem like a good deal.I returned the item but it was a hassle.

I have sent a link to this thread to Tamraz. They dont care. I asked them for a return/ refund. they alluded to they were going to do that. I have nothing as of this post, has been over a week. A report has been filed with the Attorney General of Illiniose over this. It looks like Im going to get screwed and there is nothing I can do about it.

Tamraz is about 10 minutes from me through traffic.  I have called them a few times looking to buy a part but wanted to see the quality first.  Everything they have is drop shipped or can be shipped to their warehouse in Naperville for pickup.  That concerns me for the very issue you have.  You buy a part and find out late that the part is now backordered.  I have a friend here that had nothing but good dealings with them but that was 8 years ago when he restored his Superbee.

I do have an issue with some of their advertising.  Repop bumpers are advertised as show quality chrome.  If you call their office, the sales guy will tell you right off the bat they are only driver quality.  That is great they admit it but what about the guy who just orders them only to be disappointed when they arrive.

I hope you get somewhere on this.  can you file a claim with your CC?

This was resolved by filing a complaint through paypal. Paypal gave me a refund AFTER i shipped the bezels back to Scamraz. Im out about $18 in shipping on this. BS since it was no fault of my own, but glad to be out of this. I cant recommend enough to avoid doing business with them.

Too bad you couldn't leave one bezel out of the box and when they asked about said, "Sorry, that's being shipped from a different address". Ya know, see how they like it. BTW, thanks for the heads up on them.

It's real simple just file a credit card dispute or a paypal dispute and you'll get the money back.
If you explain everything to PayPal you'll get the shipping back as well
