Hello. I have joined a few different Mopar/Cuda themed websites. This one I'm sure is going to be my home. I like it here on this site. Anyways, here is a little information on me and my car.
I bought my 73 340 4 speed Cuda in 1992 when I was 18 years old. I drove it for two summers and did not want to drive it again until it was all fixed up nice with a paint job etc. Anyways fast forward 25 years and I am now 43 years old, happily married for like 21 years with 2 kids, a house paid for and finally built a shop/garage to work on my car. Now, old Dad can finally spend some cash on my dream car. My goal is to have it done before I'm 50! Seriously.
I will be looking for a lot of advice from my fellow Canadians :canada: on sources for parts and connections in western Canada to complete my car.
Anyways.... here are some pics.
 :welcome:
That's a good looking Cuda and it looks mostly stock and complete.
Welcome from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada :canada:
You will love this site, tons of great knowledge and great people that love to help..... :welcome:
Nice looking car and :welcome: to the group. I am just below you in Spokane, unless it is cold, then I am in Vegas. Keep us posted on the progress of the ride.
 Welcome aboard from Ontario :canada:
Is that an original black car with blue interior ? Sweet :drooling:

Thanks. It had 55,000 original miles on it when I bought it. Has around 58,000 now. It was all original when I goy the car. I put a different intake, carburetor, and headers on it back when I was a youngster. So yeah, it is mostly all there and in not to bad of shape.

:welcome: @Swamp Donkey (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/swamp-donkey_961) :welcome: That is a sweet looking Cuda! That is a huge shop! :lookatthat: Did you burn the Mopar logo in to the wood? Looks cool.
My Nephew made that Mopar Logo that's on the back wall. Grade 11 or 12 metalwork project! :bradsthumb:
And the shop is 32x60. I've been living at the same place for around 20 years before I could afford the shop. I might add some details about my shop in the Shop thread I saw awhile ago.

Yes, it has the blue interior. But I fully intend on going the "resto-mod" route with my car. So very little will remain original.
And to everyone else, thanks for the kind words and well wishes.
Welcome from Sylmar, CA
Welcome from Chilliwack, B.C. :welcome:
Sweeeeet Cuda!
Welcome from Idaho. The history of my car is pretty much the same. Bought it when I was young---got put in the garage for over 22 years or so--then brought back to life. So it's never to late to start. You will just enjoy the ride twice as much when you get it done. :)
I see two guys on here from Chilliwack. I might be headed down that way with a friend so he can pick up his car. Someone in the Vancouver or Lower Mainland area painted his 69 Camaro. I might be headed down that way with my car in the next year or so, if my buddy has a good experience. Unless you know a guy.....
I knew a guy in Kelowna that did good work but I hear he shut down his shop and went back to collision work. If you need resto parts I just started work at Hot Rods and Classics in Chilliwack and we can get anything you need and eliminate the border headache for you as well. I just sold a guy in John some parts for his 67 Camaro convt. on Friday actually.
Welcome to the site Swamp Donkey! Glad you signed up!
Howdy!

Yea :iagree: for a 73, blue interior would be really rare..and to have it with a black exterior :drooling:
Not sure how well these pictures will show up. I guess I have no idea on what I have. :dunno:
Very cool! Hello from Mission / 100 Mile House :canada:
We have a broadcast sheet decoder on this site. Check it out. Dude your house is paid for and you have a killer shop. Go hammer out that Cuda before the 2 yougins need all of your money for college.
Sounds like you have been paitent. Good work and I wish you the best.
Wow !
That is a really cool ride! Seriously, black with blue guts, I'm all about the restomods and custom cars, but my humble opinion is that this one should stay with that awfully rare blue interior.
Just out of curiosity, can you even get blue replacement panels, dashes, seat covers, etc?
Welcome to the site from Socal.

My son turns 16 in two weeks and my daughter just turned 13. So college or university is coming real soon. I've been doing the RESP thing up here in Canada. So I've already kinda got them covered for school.
I'm still on target to get the car done by the time I'm 50. I started saving a 1000 bucks a month for my car in January of this year. Mrs Swamp Donkey is on board. 7x12=84,000. Plus I've been kicking in a little extra into the car account when I get some extra cash. I told her I was going to spend as much on the Cuda as a new Challenger Hellcat. Same amount of Money, way cooler car in my opinion. We will see what that amount of money can get me with our Loonie.
'73 'cuda 340 4-speed with 3.55s that's pretty rare right there
oh, & it's black with a blue interior 8)

Very nice original car !
Congrats on being at a point to take care of everything .
Yours is built One week later and about 16,800 cars from my 73, which is nothing like original but glad its not.
:welcome: I think I would keep it original! :alan2cents:
Welcome to the site from Ontario, :canada: and good luck with your resto! If you're anywhere's handy and with that shop, there should be no way you'd need to sink $84K into it, even if it is Canuck Bucks unless you're going far out on the resto. Enjoy! :bigthumb:
Welcome! :canada:
Another welcome from Ontario. Here's another vote for keeping the black/blue original. You just don't see that anywhere.
