Hotel (if needed):

I'm hoping to make it down to Fall Fling this year. Always a great time and great cars. :lookatthat:
@autoxcuda (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/autoxcuda_120) can help if anyone has any questions.
FWIW I booked the hotel for Spring Fling using the club discount then a friend tried to use the discount but the block set aside for CPW had been filled, he went on Hotels.com & got the same room for less.... Trust me, I appreciate all the guys/gals @ CPW do but in this case you might save even more by going outside the club.....
Need to visit some relatives down south so I will probably make Fall Fling
I'm super bummed. I have to cancel my trip due to work. :( I hope everyone has a great time and wish I could be there to enjoy it with you guys. Please share some photos. :please:
If anyone needs a room at Airtel Hotel I have one paid for that they can have for free.
Sorry to hear you won't be able to be at the Fall Fling Cody! Was looking forward to talking to you in the flesh and shaking your hand and thanking you for all of the help you've given me over the phone. Over the past year, do appreciate this. My buddy Rick will be pulling up in front of the house tomorrow morning at dark 30 for our sojourn up to the freeway. Hope to meet and greet you other guys.
To all the forum members here........ Have a safe and a wonderfully, scary Halloween.
Thanks, Al
Here you go gang..........! Thanks, Al
I have grown to accept life's distractions. So I wait until the end date. Yep my weekend remains open and I will attend. Look forward to meeting a few great people here in person.
Mike.
No face recognition so there is the car. Definately a 20 footer.
Oh I remember you. That magnum conversion with Efi. Very cool. Talked with you at length about it.
You did all or most the work yourself. You had a very good picture album
I think you had something major you still wanted to do to it mechanically. Like a turbo or overdrive??

Looks like you & Al are neighbors... You should hook up & cruise in together....
Fortunately I still have skill and desire. However life has delayed it a bit.
Job, kids sports, another project I could not pass up, etc... Come on by and refresh your memory as it is still close to the same level. Lol
Mike.
Sounds like a plan...
So wish I was there at the show with everyone right now. :( PLEASE let me know how it went? :please: Someone has to have some photos?
Pics. Here is what I have so far... lol
Here is a few.
Start with keeping the peace

I have a soft spot for silver 67 GTX's. This is mine from 1976, always wanted to buy another one. Has to have blue interior though.

Just getting back. Bigger than last year because of better weather.
Saw lots of Ebody parts. Ed Briggs had lots of nice Ebody and NOS ebody small parts. Greg from Bay Area had nos exhaust, Hemi starker baseplate, 71 Dodge dealership sign stand up with 71 Challenger on one side... think I saw some original 70-71 Challenger fenders, handful of 70 Challenger grills, lots of 70-71 Cuda taillights Lots of interior stuff...
There was a nice semi restored yellow T/A that was bought local at Claude Short dodge in Santa Monica with a bunch of original purchase docs.
So bummed I could not make it. It's always a super fantastic show and swap meet!!!
Had to take a pic of mine though.
Here are a few of some e-bodies.
A little more and some of my own 'Cuda with me and my wife proudly displaying e-Bodies.org hats, t-shirt, arm patch and car stickers.
Talked to many new friends and passed out e-Bodies.org business cards hopefully will get some new members soon.
Cool, had I noticed I would have stopped to chat. Was right across from you.

I love the ebodies.org love. I like your car. Do you usually go to Woodley Park as I don't remember seeing your car in the past but I also have a horrible memory?
Thanks, your memory is ok, it is my second time as far as entering a Mopar to show. I haven't had one in years before that. I was there this past Spring Fling and now this Fall Fling.
Been driving Mitsubishi cars, I dare say after my original brand new 1972 'Cuda went bye-bye in 1982 or so.
I have given thought to joining CPW and maybe being more active there as well.
The other times I have gone to Woodley Park were not car related like the Japanese Garden next to the show area and picnic grounds, etc.

Thanks for the photos @autoxcuda (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/autoxcuda_120) Looks like another great show and swap.
You missed out on some nice E-body parts.
:takemymoney:
That 71 Dealer stand was $300 asking. He had a soldered part number tagged T/A-AAR radiator for $200.
Had a great day at the Fall Fling today. It was a little bigger this year than last most likely as was said due to the weather. The swap area did cough up some special deals for me. One deal in particular 2 brand new Challenger door handles, in the boxes with door gaskets for.............$15.00
Ran into a MOPAR hobbyist from Saskatchewan, Canada today also, over heard him talking to the guy with a '70 Challenger Rt/SE 383 car in B5 Blue?? about needing a lower A/C piece for interior of his burnt orange '70 Challenger dash. Al to the rescue with a perfect one in OEM burnt orange. I have 2 one in black one in burnt orange. I guess I'll be sending one to Canada soon, for an agreed $250.
I guess they are a little hard to find with no damage. Then the guy with the Sublime, black interior, SL6, 3-speed '70 Challenger in survivor form for sale according to his appraisal for $26,000. Original owner with build sheet and window monroney, owners manual. Hamtramck car bought at a Dodge dealership in Reseda, Ca. For $2,200. by him, We had a lot to talk about. Thanks, Al
:D So glad to see so many people had a good time and looks like there was lots of good deals to be found too.
E-bodies for sale
These were in the show field
The original FJ5 /6 car was asking $22K IIRC.
It looks like there are some great cars and parts there. That FJ5 Challenger is pretty neat.
So what did you guys buy in the swap meet????
I sold a complete set of 4 uncracked unscratched 72-74 Challenger twilight lenses for $25
This is what I bought for a wopping $53:
Top to bottom row 1 then 2
NOS headlight switch plug housing and pilot bushing
new repro 68 barracuda hood emblem
new clutch pedal pads
New hinge bushing and pin kit plus one striker
speedo gear
two new Chinese window cranks
2 speed wiper switch, 70 turn signal switch parts, CA emissions part
There are so many good deals at both Spring and Fall fling. I would have been bringing parts home in my suitcase if I was there.
Nope didn't make it at all....

Bummer you couldn't make it Cody as I was looking for ya. I also looked for ebodies schwag but no worries. I did wear the Cuda t-shirt I got which I thought would be a tell but maybe a banner next year would help.
Overall, the show was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but it's a little larger than the show we have up here and the swap area is larger. I did see a bunch of B-bodies stuff and a bunch of chunks, auto trannys, a few 833's, and other odds and ends but no Rallye gauges except one set for a 72-74 which won't work for me. I did pick up a couple of parts so the show wasn't a total minus for the drive. I talked to a guy with a Ramcharger who had a nice steering wheel setup but he said it was still too small for him. Overall I thought the Superbirds were pretty friggin nice and the race one was a cool piece of history. I think there were more Roadrunners than Cuda's out there but all in all it was fun.

Where you looking for a complete Rallye Gauge setup. Maybe I just saw facias, bezels and lens. Like this 70-71
Yeah saw the facias but no full setups. Also looked for a 513 bellhousing and I only found one and he wanted twice what I would pay for it so I moved on.
Did anyone see any Clutch safety switches there? I didn't find any.
More E-bodies
I think that blue 71 Barracuda is advertised here for sale
We give out Mopars of Special Merit ribbon awards.
The concept of the ribbons is an opportunity to recognize cars and/or owners that traditionally do not get recognized under a traditional judging format. That could be: cars/boats/sirens/buses wouldn't fit a class OR works in progress OR young guns OR something totally odd...
All Mopars are welcome at Fall Fling and Spring Fling. Works in-progress, daily drivers, survivors, 50's, 40's, 30's, trucks, boats, air raid sirens, military, police, customs, LX, LC, you name it !!!

Yes, Shane has it here for sale.
There was one swapper that had a 72-74 Cuda, 70 V-code Challenger painted roller, and a nice driver 70 383 R/T Challenger for sale in swap.
Anyone have pictures of any of those ??
More E-bodies
More swap pics.
First is of that 70 V-code Challenger painted roller. Second is the 72-74 Cuda for sale. Not a good pictures, but what I have.
This is a real 71 V-code FJ6 'Cuda. Not sure about the shaker. Think it's a 4-speed.
I walked by that V-code and it's driver made me laugh.
