The Creek fire in northern cal outside of Yosemite is my major concern at this time. My brother, Chuck, who passed on a couple of years ago lived and raised his family for the past 40 years in Oakhurst, Cal. His family who still lives there are threatened at this time by the uncontrolled Creek Fire. This devastating fire has consumed 163,929 acres a total of 225 sq. miles with 0% containment and is threatening 5,000 structures but has consumed over 300 structures as of now. Because my Bros. family is on the east side of the community of Oakhurst they have been evacuated to a safer area, leaving behind of course their home and life of 40 years. When they are finally allowed to return will there be anything to return to. Along with this something else that compounds the situation is my Wife's only sister Susan, lives there in Oakhurst is also being evacuated and being a single woman was easier to evacuate, no pets to move and has only been in the area for less than 2 years. My wife and I are on a standby call and are ready to leave for no. Cal from SoCal. no matter what the time may be. Prayers are needed please for these people that don't know where they will be going next. Thank you enthusiasts for your prayers and concerns. Al
Immediate and continued prayers, brother.
:crying: Prayers sent....
It's hitting home for many.
You and everyone else impacted have my bestus thoughts!
My sis is currently evacuated, her home is in Willits- Oak Fire.
Scooter, my prayers and concerns go out to you and your sister my friend. I guess this is our norm with all of the wildfires hitting our state. Many relatives and people will be impacted and touched some how by these disasters. I can imagine how you feel I know how I feel, I'm really bummed but we will endure. Thank you Warren and thank you all for your prayers. Al

The good news is they are all safe. Everything else can be managed at a later date. Lets hope as many as possible come out unharmed.

:console:
Al, You know that you do not only have our prayers but if you need anything I'm close enough to help you so let me know
Can`t imagine losing everything but the most important thing is they are OK. Hopefully they can figure out some way of keeping these fires from spreading so bad out there, seems to be every few months more wildfires are ravaging Cali. :dunno:
I hear ya...
This is difficult for us all in Ca. at this time.
Prayers for the wellbeing of everyone.
CudaMoparRay, Thanks Ray buddy, your right you are close enough for support. I'll talk with you on the phone real soon, a lot has developed since I last talked to you over the phone. But thank you much for the offer, I'll keep you in the loop. Everyone stay safe. Al

I have a cousin in Coarsegold, 12 miles southwest of Oakhurst, that has evacuated.
I am in the Bay Area I've never seen anything like this in the entire time I've lived here .Prayers for the people and wildlife that are impacted by this. Here is a shot of the sky this morning it only got darker as the day went on ,the sky has been dark all day with ash.
Blown motor, just thinking how many times I've been through Coarsegold with my brother to the Indian Casino. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your cousin. I'm sure since he's been evacuated along with my brothers family and my sister-in-law they are all in the safe place. We can only hope that the fire fighters can get a hold on this before it can be another a Paradise Ca. Thanks, Al
So Sorry to hear. Sending prayers and please stay safe.

Sending thoughts and prayers as well. I can't believe what I'm seeing on the news.
Sorry to hear the fires are close by. Prayers and thoughts are with you all.
I'm in Sacramento. If anyone needs a hand or any help, feel free to hit me up. I don't mind driving to help with anything if needed.
More prayers sent
Stay safe everyone!
Unfortunately, in the end, way more people will die from the poisonous air quality than by the fires themselves. :(
