Anyone have nice photos of their car that we can use for the 2018 Member Calendar? This will be available in the Prize Shop for members to purchase with credits. It will be a limited run so want to get them going now so members have time to save, think and buy as many as they want.
Might do two calendars? One of finished cars and one of our projects how we found them (in barns, fields, garages, abandon). What's your thoughts on that?
We'll also want to upload the photos to the Gallery so they are large and usable for the calendar, but link back to here or post them here too. Thanks!!!!
I think the idea of a calendar with cars like you found them . . I would have to search but bet I could come up with one or 2 of the convertible. :)
like this :)

I like the idea of both calendars, found and restored. It would also be neat, but probably not feasible, to have one month be the project and the next month to be the same car restored. Of course this would only allow 6 total vehicles/members, but still something any car enthusiast could appreciate.
Tom
Each month could have two pictures.....before/after pictures of the same car :dunno:
Some great ideas guys!!!!!! Thanks.
These never made the cut for the C-C.C Calendar... :) Was nudged out by just a few votes.

That's a nice picture....but this is an E BODY web site.....so maybe the calendar should have E Body's in it....just a thought. :alan2cents:
Picture of my car that was in Mopar Muscle was used on C-C.com calendar a few years ago, but if someone wants to, can be used again...
Also, have some vintage T/A pics, but they're old and lower quality.
What is the procedure for submitting pictures?
Can you post a copy on here and then send me the best quality version you have. My email is codyreich (a t ) comcast ( do t ) net

"Some Assembly Required"
In progress :dunno:
I'm really digging all the cool photos!!! Think we'll try 2 different calendar this year. One of done cars and one of the projects or barn finds.
I did get notice that we need to have our photos be 3,000 pixels wide at a minimum for the print quality to work. Keep that in mind and thanks for being part of the first Prize Shop Calendars! :slapme5:

Do we want to set up a special folder in the Gallery just for large Calendar photos to be uploaded to? How you would guys like to get them to me? :clueless:
A gallery would be easier to post and keep track of instead of a years worth of emails......
This ones better than my first submission
I love it!!!! :inlove:
Just saw this thread. Added a photo. I like the idea of having projects or as found cars.
Also just noticed this. Posted in the link above.
My old convertible
I guess now that she is torn down in the garage I can take some pics of the project part...maybe after that Ill find a nice beach to leak oil on as I snap some photos for the finished product
all 3 Cudas we built here at the shop. Black and yellow were for the dealer principle,
3rd Cuda
before in a Kansas corn field, and after.
Cody, how about something different. You know my LA early built SL6 Challenger, maybe a candidate to be considered. This pic is my favorite of all pics that serves the purpose well when people say "Hey you got some pictures?" Thanks, Al
Here's a couple of mine that I took in the late 1980s.
Terry
What's the deadline? :takepicture:
Feel free to use any from my Bluda album on Photobucket.
Is this still open?
Cheers!

One more
AAR EF8's 1970 Plymouth AAR 340 6 Barrel survivor.
I guess Ill toss one in. I don't have my stripes on yet but I like the pic.
Can't wait for 2018 to get the calendar.
I have not searched high and low on this website, but where do I go to buy a calendar?

I love the prize shop!!! :bravo:
Ditto!!!
So, if the calendars are in the prize shop, can I buy one or do I have to go on a posting rampage to get enough points or credits or whatever the deal is?
John.

Well, that's a good question. We have a 100 of them. Should we give one to everyone that had their car selected to be in the calendar? If we give away 13 (12 months plus cover) that leaves us with 87. We planned to limit it to one per member until everyone had a chance to order one. Then if there are any left we would circle back and see if anyone that order one wants a 2nd or offer them for sale? They really are the groups calendars so we'll do whatever the group wants to do with them. :grouphug:
I say ....figure out a price with postage and just put them up for grabs....first come...first serve.....out of the 873 members we have, there's probably only 87 that are active often enough to want a calendar. :alan2cents:

I agree with Alan. It is great that some will be in the prize shop. On another site, they offered calendars at a fair price and I would just order 3 or 4 of them. One in the man cave, one in the office and one in the house. Usually gave the last one away. Just my :alan2cents:
if the first proposed 100 go fast, will there be a second print?
Hmm: Prize shop would be cool, selling them would be cool too. Perhaps 5 in the prize shop and sell the rest? I agree with filling multiples after all the singles are gone. As long as administering it all isn't too consuming. I myself haven't hung a calendar in a decade or so but lots of people love them.
I guess I will keep asking to buy one until I'm told no or 2019 comes along. I understand if I'm too new here and don't contribute enough to get into the calendar sweepstakes.
Swamp: That's why I think it would be good to have a few in the prize shop and others for sale. A lot of people may be interested in them that don't post all the time. This is the first year so it will be the first gauge of demand.
You will get one! :bigthumb:

If we announce on the FB page that these are for sale, I'm bettin' that 100 will go real quick.

Put me on that list too please. :thankyou:
I would like one too!
I like the approaches outlined: freebies for those featured in the calendar, a few in the prize shop for those that have the credits to get them, and an opportunity to buy for those of us that don't fit in the first two categories. I'd suggest having a window where people can only order 1, then open the rest for "first come, first served" for whatever's left.

The people who have the cars in the calendar should be guaranteed to receive one - maybe not free but have one "reserved". I certainly want one.

I think this is the plan right here
@Cuda Cody (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/cuda-cody_1)
Keeping my eyes focused on this thread, ready to spring with my Credit Card to have a calendar.
What's the ETA date on availability?
Would like to avoid the..."You snooze ya loose" :bricks:
Not sure who is administrating the shipping of the calendars, but whoever you are.... :thankyou:
I am assuming 100 will go pretty fast so that sounds like a good start then maybe print another run if there is a lot of interest.
The Calendars are in the PRIZE SHOP!!!!

If you do not have enough Prize Shop Credits for one, we have set some aside for those that would prefer to purchase them. Paypal : codyreich@comcast.net if you want to buy one. They are $15 each shipped in the US and $20 each shipped outside the US. Limit 1 per member until December 19th 2017.
A great addition to an already great group
