Full screen pop up ads

I get full page pop ups. Happens either when I click to see new posts or when I click on a particular thread. Is there a setting I can change ?

Yea, I been getting them too...not every time though....Seems I only get one pop-up per visit, which is good....still annoying

I get them on my iPad BUT not on my desktop. I'm sure it's all because of the Google Chrome Adblocker and it's free.
Take dhh's advice.

I think they are getting annoying.  I'd be willing to pitch in a little to Cody to not have them pop up but I understand it's a way to keep this great site going.

This is the only forum out of 4 that I visit that I have this problem.

I'm primarily on an iPhone and have found if I zoom in on the thread slightly, before tapping on it, that the pop ups don't happen.
