While I'm certainly no originality guru, that booster looks identical to what is in my '73 Challenger...so probably incorrect for a '70?
Everything on a '70 is 'one off' isn't it?

Some numbers might help. There's a casting number on the m/c & there might be a number on the booster. I would always rebuild the originals if possible... if they're correct.....Joe

I think if I were in the market for something that looks close to stock for a 70 and is bolt on-ready to go for not a lot of money, I'd go with this booster-

And then the Raybestos 36307 master as outlined in this thread by JH27N0B-

Spoke to the engine builder and were using a big solid cam he said I won't have the required vaccum for a booster

He suggests running a willwood master straight to the firewall and no booster.

What are your thoughts

EV2RTSE

That seems to be what a lot of people go to when running a big cam, maybe also consider a hydro-boost setup.

Are you running drums on the rear and factory discs up front?

What does it stop like please

RUNCHARGER

This is what I have used for manual discs. They stop great with normal pedal effort. I like them because they look stock.

When I bought my car it had the Wilwood master cylinder direct to the firewall, no booster, with Wilwood front discs and drum rears.  I felt it stopped fine without too much effort, I was actually pretty surprised with not having the booster.  Car also had a big cam / low vacuum

@70rtse  I am selling the Wilwood set up if you are interested...
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy horsepower and that's kind of the same thing.....

4 wheel disc, I have the 1 1/32 size on now, I thought I'd try the 15/16 version as it does stop but to lock up you really need to press hard unless pads are hot but I never got around to it yet. I'm running C-Body rotors and Viper brembo's up front and Drdiff small rear disc kit. it used ford cobra calipers.

I used the same master cylinder when I had the stock set up Disc/Drum , you just remove residual pressure valve in master when you use 4 wheel disc.

If I was buying this again I'd just buy both sizes to save on shipping, as they are cheap enough....
