these wear out.  finding a "good original" will be darn impossible and cost more than an aftermarket.

original can be rebuilt, just do not want a reproduction

Who is rebuilding the original clutch fans now?  I believe that Fred Olivia no longer does them and the Pampered Chef who was the Corvette clutch fan restorer has a questionable quality from what I have heard.  Kirk Connell has a excellent reputation for his Corvette restoration pieces, but no ideal if he is willing to do the Mopar piece, but they were all Eaton pieces to my knowledge.
