Wanted - New Bucket Seat Foam Piece - Legendary- 1971 Challenger

I want to replace the seat foam (bottom) on the driver's side bucket seat in my 71 Challenger. Legendary will not sell individual seat foam components. Looking for someone to split an order or for someone who has a leftover new seat bottom foam piece.

See second pic below for a list of applications for the foam I need.

I was not aware of that.  I saw a post recently on one of the forums with a complaint about seat foam purchased from somewhere other than Legendary.  I can't remember the details so I'll have to do some digging but I'm probably going to hold out for Legendary foam.  It's a real shame they won't sell individual pieces.  Thanks

Bump.  Still looking for someone to split an order.  I acquired a set of originals but they're not going to cut it.  I'll probably end up buying a full set and listing the unused pieces for sale.  Still bummed Legendary won't sell individual sets (even at a premium).  Seems pretty dumb.

Hi @Floyd,

Have you checked the Holiday sales?  PG Classic has 25% off orders over $199 and 50% shipping on orders $400 and over.  Fine print states the sale doesn't apply to seat covers but, hopefully it still applies to the seat foam.  I happen to get an email from them but haven't compared prices/sales with other vendors.

It was only 15 percent.  It knocked about $55 off.  Still frustrated that Legendary wouldn't sell individual pieces or even single bucket seat set.

Thank you for the info.  15% is disappointing, I was hoping you'd say at least 25%.  I've not studied interiors or related vendors yet, is there anything special about Legendary you preferred over other vendors or were they just the first ones to have a sale this year?

I only have experience with Legendary seat covers for a 70 Challenger.  I've used both their 70 and 71 Challenger seat foam.  Everything was very high quality and the vast majority of posts I've read over the years point to Legendary as the best option.

Legendary makes the best.
Unfortunately, like a lot of company's, their sales get watered down.
A number of years ago their 25% off sale was really 25% off.
Last year I ordered and the 25% was only on 'select' items (covers are different from foam) and I think only applied once I spent a certain amount...
In the end, I think the discount ended up being about 13% on my whole $2000 order...
Still worth something, but far from what you envision going into the process.
