Im looking for a passenger side door lock retainer. Would anyone have one for sale? Thanks!

Cuda Cody

I used to see those on broken handles at swap meets all the time and would normally buy them just for the 2 screws and the retainer clip.  Most of the time people were happy to sell a broken handle for $10 or $20 bucks.  I don't see them as much anymore. But they are still out there.

You can also search auction sites for the full used handle and see if you can make an offer.  Might find the retainer that way too.

J @Justin426  I have the pass side lock retainer, unfortunately no screws. Pm me if interested.

I paid $30 for one a few years back with screws (which the screws seem to be unique or at least uncommon), and was grateful to find one too. And I agree with Cody - now I just look for the used handles with the lock retainers still attached, and just buy them for $5 or $10, remove the retainers and screws and just toss handles. Re-chroming handles is a waste - better to just look for NOS ones or excellent originals (IMO). Now I have a small collection of all door parts (1970) ... in case I need them or one of my buddies does. (I think I have become somewhat of a parts hoarder.)

I have one RH with the screws. PM me with your location and I'll remove it and send it in the mail to you unless you want the broken handle also, then you'll need to pay shipping.
