Drip Rail & Window Channel
« on: August 02, 2020, 08:26:12 AM »
Hey Guys,
Question about the seal that is used for the drip rail and the window channel. The drip rail seal is a very thin closed cell foam, measured .030" uncompressed. The window channel is a thicker open cell foam, measured .160" uncompressed. I've not seen these anywhere as a reproduction. What are you guys using? Thanks.

Mopar5, you are right. I just found it. It helps when you search using the correct terminology. :drunk:

@Crash520 they are included in the exterior paint gasket kit. https://www.detroitmuscletechnologies.com/e-body-1971-71-barracuda-paint-exterior-gasket-set/   You may have to contact them directly to see if they just sell the seals you're after, but the complete kit is worth every penny. :alan2cents:

It's been a while since I dug mine out but I think when I removed them the seals were a rubber strip?  :dunno:  Or did they differ though the years?

Here's the link to the seals separate from the entire kit if you need just these.

As Alan said, the entire kit looks great and I'll be buying the complete kit.
