   When you hear the name Keith Black I immediately think HEMI. Wonder how many motors have come thru those doors over the years.

     Don Garlits turned 92 yesterday and still going strong in racing. I read a while back he was developing an electric dragster. Happy birthday Big Daddy.        :happybday:

He certainly was willing to experiment in the pursuit of speed. While his rear engine dragster was his most successful innovation, he had a few dogs along the way too.  Like the fully enclosed Swamp Rat 17 or the mono-strut wing pedestal.
