This is the steering wheel I have on my 70 Cuda. I like the looks of the Rimblow better, but if it wasn't available for my car then I won't use it.  What steering wheels were offered and when ?

i like the 3 spoke wheels. Keep it.

One day every almost every modified Cuda or Challenger will either have the Tuff grip or the Rimblow.

A 1970 Cuda only had two available options, the standard wheel you have or the rim blow wheel........... and possibly a ring blow, but I'm not sure if that was a Plymouth option or not.

Yes, Rim Blow was available in a 70 'Cuda & Challenger.

In 70, 'Cuda had the fish on the center cap, and Challenger had a round Dodge insert on the center cap.

In 71, they both switched to the plain blank center cap.  Sharing parts saved money for Chrysler.

At least 4 options

Rim blow
Std wood grain
Std wood grain with half horn ring
Std black wheel (never seen one with a half horn ring)

The black steering wheel would have been a Barracuda thing, not Cuda in my opinion...The ring blow I'm still unsure...

When I bought my '70 Challenger it had a lot of SE trim on the inside, included was a Rim-blow steering wheel. I liked it alright, but after awhile I was looking for something smaller maybe more user friendly. I located a Tuff sport in an '80 Mirada in great condition in a u-pull yard for $10.00, I reconditioned it had it wrapped in a sport type wrap in black w/ orange stitching to match interior. It's the right size and definitely more user friendly, to me.     Thanks,   Al

Al, I agree with you on the more user friendly compared to the "Boat Wheel" OEM ones.  :haha:

As a daily driver, Cuda Ray, that "boat wheel" as you call it, good description by the way, was a struggle all the time. I'm glad I changed it out.    Thanks,   Al
