Every now and then I see a console with little plastic loops pinned to the sides and I assume the hold the belts to make it easier to grab them. I found a console that has these holes but no loops.

I was wondering why some have them while most don't. Does anyone reproduce them?

Never seen them on a 70 E body... Mostly I've seen them on B bodies...

Pictures taken (& modified) from another forum. Look to be a '74 thing.

Definitely not a 70-71 thing in my opinion  :alan2cents:

Probably not an e body thing at all. This photo is one on eBay and I do see them from time to time but it must have been added by owners along the way. The one I have, holes are in slightly different positions too. I thought maybe it was a last year thing with certain convenience options added.

The top picture I posted has  B (Barracuda) and J (Challenger) listed. The OP from CC.c said it was from a 1974 Service manual.

Here's the link to that discussion.
