@6bblgt from my understanding there are two different colors and woodgrain patterns for 70. Since an AAR is a 70 1/2, which could explain why it was different than earlier models. May be the same color/grain as 71. It seems to be the hardest color/grain to find as I was trying to find a switch plate to replace my original which was not up to par for my restoration.

I gave up trying to find a switch plate to match to my original gauge cluster plate and purchased 3 complete plates from various vendors but ended up sending them back because of the quality. Needing to move on, I decided to try and print my own using a method called hydrographics. Woodgrain pattern isn't spot on but they do match.

First pic is my original which is a darker more brown color.

Second pic is from a 70 that Is a more reddish color and pattern is different.

QuoteERDWP-7: 3 switch, direct, with seat belt light, no pictographs (made up combination or did the seat belt light show up late-'73?)

This is how my October 72 built 73 Challenger is.  It's definitely a factory combination.  Original owner car until I took possession.

I took a couple pictures of my original wood grain.  In retrospect, I should have reused it.  I destroyed the switch panel wood grain trying to get it separated from the metal backing.
